Another story to share...in fact this is going on right now!
The second week of August a customer of Excel Racing (he became a customer after after ordering) purchased a chassis and engine from a well known California chassis and engine builder (not sure if chassis builder is the correct term since another company actually builds the said chassis). He was promised the world and told all his gear would be ready by October. The money was sent and the "builder" sent an email letting him know he received the money and "Thanks". We'll it's now the end of December and the customer still has no motor, no chassis, no return emails, no return phone calls....NOTHING not a single word! The said builder appears to have went into "Stealth" mode!!!! We all understand getting great gear sometimes means you wait for the right gear to become available or built but that is no excuse for taking hard earned money from the folks that work hard to give their children the opportunity to race!!!!
Oh yeah, the customers 2011 Emmick kid kart chassis that he ordered through Excel Racing is being delivered as we speak!!!
Just a word of advice: If you purchase used motors or gear from a seller outside of your area be sure to get photo's of what your buying and pictures of the serial numbers or date stamp!
